California is known for its surfing beaches, so taking a surfing lesson was mandatory! I’ve already surfed in the past, mostly in Virginia Beach, so I was thrilled to try out a new location. My surf instructor was actually a Portuguese who speaks a little bit of French! What a funny coincidence 😉

After working out more than 3 hours on Tuesday, a nice plate of pasta sounded great! I had the Gnocchi Neri and it was delishhhh!
I have to admit guys, this café is probably my fave EVER. The café serves 100% plant-based gourmet meals. Each meal is named after a trait, such as I AM Nourished! What a cute idea right? 😉 Café Gratitude promotes positivity in a warming environment.
Coronado is a teenie beach community surrounded by the San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Very rich in history, the island was a must stop for a little walk on the main street and boardwalk. It’s also very known for the Hotel del Coronado, where a movie featuring Marilyn Monroe was filmed. While we were at it, we stopped for a little sweet treat : ice cream squeezed in between two freshly baked waffles!
