Sorry I’ve been MIA around here lately. I’ve been working on some really cool projects, one of which I’m super excited about. I can’t reveal the full details right now but I can tell you that it involves me travelling to New York City for a weekend at the end of the month. It’s one of my biggest collabs yet and I can’ wait to share it all with you. I’m especially pleased that this getaway comes at a perfect timing, that being right after my midterm exams. YAY, right?
In this week’s outfit post, I wanted to talk about the latest obsessions that have hit my doorstep. To start, I’m head over heels in love with my new Interstellar combat boots that come from a collaboration between Portuguese artist Cristina Rodrigues and Fly London. While combat boots are often used to make outfits look edgier, these give an elegant touch with their satin ribbon laces (they come with gold laces as well). They’ve got spunk, are super comfortable and have quickly become of one of my fall favourites. I can assure you that I will be flaunting them with other outfits throughout the next couple of weeks.
Next on is the double-breasted plaid blazer from H&M. I’ve been wearing it on repeat for over two weeks now and every time I lay my eyes on it, which is basically every time I go into my closet, it still feels like I’m in the first stages of a new love affair. My favourite way to wear it is as a business casual attire, but I’m also into dressing it down with jeans, white t-shirt and lace-up combat boots as seen here. It’s the kind of style that easily fits most of my occasions these days, ie: school, coffee dates, brunch and casual evening events.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I will be hosting a giveaway for a pair of Interstellar Fly Boots shortly via my Instagram account. Stay tuned!
