Reusing & Restyling Into Spring

Spring may not quite be in the air yet but it will soon, and I’m ready to start the transition. I’m really enjoying this look that is simple yet so stylish.  It features some of the biggest spring trends and mostly consists of items that have been sitting in my closet for some time now.  I’m really trying to practice the slow fashion rule which means buying less and reusing & restyling more. I have to be honest, it’s not always easy and sometimes requires more time in the morning, but so far, so good. By putting this new practice into place, it has made me more conscious when parting ways with older clothes. It has also made me realize that I don’t necessarily always need the latest trending piece to look stylish. With that being said, I don’t think it would be realistic to say that I will drastically be cutting down on shopping or featuring new pieces regularly as that wouldn’t be fair to the work I do as an influencer.

This look was definitely an easy one to put together. With yellow ruling as one of the top colors next season, white ankle boots proving that they have become a street-style star, and a grey plaid oversized blazer being a fashion staple, I think it’s safe to say that this combination is a safe bet when revitalizing a spring wardrobe.
